The first year of marriage, if anything, has made Russell Wilson fall even harder for his wife, Ciara.

The Seattle Seahawks quarterback took to Instagram on Wednesday, October 25, to share a loving and true-to-his-heart message for the singer on her 32nd birthday.

“Hey, C! You know, a lot of people say that they’re your number one fan, but I’m actually your number one fan—without a doubt,” Wilson expressed in a video. “I just want to say you’re the best women I know, the best mom I know, the best wife I know, the best thing I could ever imagine.”

The couple celebrated her special day with a private, sushi-making cooking class, which was followed by a romantic, candlelit dinner overlooking the sunset–all in the comfort of their own home. The tabletop was decorated with a “C” centerpiece and yes—champagne was served. “#AllINeedIsYouForMyBirthday,” Ciara wrote on Instagram.

The power couple married last summer at Peckforton Castle, a historic 19th century venue in Cheshire, England, where they were joined by their fellow athletes and artists alike.

Designer Peter Dundas, who was previously the creative director of Roberto Cavalli, crafted a custom gown for the bride.
